Marti was born and raised in OKC, moved away when I was 19 and never intended to live here again. I’ve lived in Kansas City, the Chicago area, Louisville area, Atlanta, the Netherlands, Southern Germany, Southern France but Oklahoma is home! She moved back to OKC 10 years ago to marry the love of her life who she had met when they were in 7th grade at Classen High School. She has 3 grown daughters, 6 grandchildren and 2 bonus daughters and 3 bonus grandchildren!

She learned about Branch 15 in January 2014 after it started in October 2013. She’s always had a passion for women who’ve been abused or made unhealthy choices in their lives. Branch15 spoke to her heart and she knew she had to find out more. “I can’t imagine a life without involvement in Branch 15 and seeing all that God is doing in the lives of the women who’ve come to live there, as well as the lives of the staff, leadership and ambassadors! I think I am going to come and “contribute”, I come away blessed beyond anything I may have given.” God is working in ways no one can imagine. We have visions, He always enlarges them beyond what we imagine! Whenever something happens that seems like a setback, it never fails to be a stepping stone to something He has planned to move us on down the road to something more. Who wouldn’t want to be around to witness that?!
